This is the highly sought, small version of Nizzoli's Art Deco masterpiece for Cordial Campari, a colorless liqueur distilled from raspberries. it became a favorite of the La Dolce Vita era of the '50s and '60s in Italy.
And it is perhaps our all-time favorite poster for a bar or intimate dining area - a dramatic, cubistic still life, with rich, deep tones of burgundy, green and gold. It was created by Marcello Nizzoli, a creative genius who made significant contributions as an artist, graphic and industrial designer and architect. His posters were as brilliant and varied as France's great posterist AM Cassandre, utilizing the vocabularies of Cubism, Futurism and Surrealism. As the head of design at Olivetti, he created the first ergonomically advanced business machines in the '50s.
This poster in its oversize 55 x 77" variant is also in stock - if you have the room, it is utterly magnificent!
