Suvretta House - St. Moritz (luggage label),
1930 ca
In the 1890s, luxurious hotels around the world began to offer clients free luggage stickers to affix to their leather suitcases. Til the Fifties, the labels served as inexpensive viral marketing - essentially an endorsement to anyone who saw the tag. The Five Star Suvretta House in St. Moritz created this stunning label probably in the 1930s or shortly after WWII.
