David Klein created an iconic series of travel posters for TWA in the Fifties and Sixties that signified the birth of a mass age of travel. His vibrant, witty images promoted Everyman destinations like Las Vegas, Disneyland, Florida and New York, as well as major European destinations.

This beautiful preparatory painting from Klein's estate was never used as a poster despite its rich iridescent coloring and whimsical charm.
