Politiken, 1965

Andersen, Ib poster: Politiken

This highly abstract design for a leading Copenhagen newspaper is one of the most beautiful posters done in the post-World War II period. Andersen was the son of Denmark's greatest posterist and primarily worked as a painter. Although it is difficult to say for sure, perhaps this highly cubistic work indicates that in a world full of confusion there is only one thing which is clear - that, of course, is the newspaper Politiken.
