Florence - Chemin de Fer PLM, 1921
Early in his poster career Roger Broders created one of the most beautiful nighttime travel images, and surely the finest poster of Florence. His peaceful, star-twinkled view of the Ponte Vecchio perfectly captured the Renaissance city's romantic and timeless qualities. Broders would go on to design about 100 posters for the PLM railroad, many of them becoming classic designs of the "Golden Age of Travel."
