Roger Broders specialized in travel posters, creating nearly 100 images for the PLM railway in the ‘20s and ‘30s. His posters of the rich and famous were always carefully constructed and immaculately printed by Serre. These posters, with their profusion of jazzy patterns and elegant figures, evoke a golden age of travel at its peak.
Here we see skiing at its stylized best, although one can see that the absence of chairlifts made downhill skiing a lot harder than today.
