Nach dem Amazonas - Hamburg - America Linie, 1937
Hamburg - America Line created a stunning group of posters for exotic cruise destinations in the late Thirties, when the Depression, immigration quotas and international tensions demanded new approaches. Unlike many of the posters of the decade, Fuss' posters focused primarily on the destination rather than the ship. Its goal was to attract a sophisticated traveler to the far corners of the world in search of adventure and exploring natural history.
