A stagecoach and its petticoated passenger are overwhelmed by the vision overhead of a new Junkers JU 52/3M. The corrugated airship, with room for 17, was introduced in 1932 and quickly became the workhouse in the Thirties for Lufthansa, Europe's leading airline.
