This delightful poster for a classic Venetian biscuit producer fittingly shows a courtier offering a lady a biscuit in the little piazza facing the lagoon off of St. Mark's Square. The biscuit resembles the shape of a Sea Bass, or Baicoli in Italian. The biscuit is very hard and was a staple of Venetian sailors. Today it is a preferred biscuit for dipping in coffee or zabaglione.
