Why Go Home? - London Underground (hand signed), 1938

Severin, Mark poster: Why Go Home? - London Underground (hand signed)

Severin, an accomplished Belgian artist who spent the Thirties in London, created a terrific series of posters promoting the nightlife of the city. Vibrant scenes of bustling restaurants, movie theatres and nightcap-snacks were followed by The Way Home, a night scene of Londoners heading home by tube.
