Clark, Christopher poster: London: St. James's Place - LMS

London was the most important of all destinations for the London Midlands South Railway, or LMS. Christopher Clark, a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolors, created a fine series of posters that perfectly captured the essence of the city's royal pageantry.

The series was so successful in attracting tourists that it was reprinted in the 1950s after the English railroads were consolidated into British Rail.
