This is an original vintage poster of St. Louis' International Air Races event by Carl Walter from 1923. Established in 1920, the Lambert air field rose to prominence with this event that featured airplanes whizzing around 2 pylons at over 200 mph. One of the attendants at this event was the young Charles Lindbergh, who was to fly his Spirit of St. Louis across the Atlantic in 1927.
