The Diva is Dismissed - Public Theater, 1994
This Post-Modern poster uses the language of Russian Agit Prop to shout about Jenifer Lewis' wild solo show "The Diva Is Dismissed", an autobiographical comedy and music show. She performed the show off-Broadway at the Public Theatre.
By leading designer Paula Scher, this is one of the best posters of the era and is appropriately in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
