Bally Schuhe Shoes Chaussures, 1940
This charming pre WWII poster for Bally was part of a long and distinguished poster series for the luxury shoe brand that began in 1924. From the beginning, the company hired many of the best artists in Switzerland and later France to promote their product. In the mid-Nineties the Basel Design Museum presented a fine retrospective with more than 100 Bally posters. Mulli created two fine posters for the series. Here a skier plants Bally slalom sticks on a ski course to promote Bally ski boots. Beautifully printed.
