This beautifully designed poster was created for a leading Danish passenger and freight line that specialized in service to the Orient. Its publication probably coincides with the 1934 launch by the East Asiatic Company of the 425 foot Jutlandia, a luxurious ship which carried passengers on the Denmark to Bangkok run. The poster combines a route map, a view of the ship, and its ports of call in large letters cleverly curved around the globe.
