Vini di Lusso, 1921
This is one of the most beautiful in-store displays from Italy. Plinio Codognato, a leading Italian posterist of the inter-war years, shows a hungry satyr reaching upward for a bunch of ripened grapes dangling from a vine. What a delightful way to promote an expensive brand of wine! This cardboard-backed display still is complete with a 1922 monthly calendar. In fine condition, it is perfect for a dining room, bar or kitchen. Chin chin!
